Frequently asked questions

Can I translate Zoom, Teams, or YouTube audio?

Use supported system audio capture to translate audio as it plays. On the web, the shared source must include audio. Your browser, operating system, and playback app may limit what can be captured.

Do I need to upload an audio file?

Live translation captures your microphone or supported system audio. For a recorded video, play it and capture its audio in real time.

Does live translation work offline?

Live recognition and translation require internet access. Audio is sent to cloud services for recognition, and the relevant text is processed for translation.
